Summer Update 7/15

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a fantastic summer! As a reminder, a few groups of students are being asked to meet next week before we dive into band camp. We will meet in the band room. Please plan to enter through the band room doors. The band room will open 15 minutes before each meeting/rehearsal and close 15 minutes after each meeting/rehearsal.

Monday, July 20th: Band leadership meeting, 4:45pm.

July 20th-July 22nd: Percussion rehearsal, 6-8pm.

July 23rd- July 24th: Rookies (first year members of the Ontario band and freshmen) and band leadership, 6-8pm.

Band camp will start next week! Rehearsals will be held from 8am-3pm on July 27th-July 31st and August 4th-August 7th. All students are required to attend all of band camp.

As a reminder, if you have to miss any part of rehearsal for any reason, please fill out the absence form (click here). The administration is aware of our new reporting system and has asked that parents or guardians fill out the absence form to create greater continuity with athletics. (It is akin to having students bring a signed note).
