At their first State Contest appearance since 2022, the Ontario Symphonic Band earned a Superior Rating (I), the highest honor awarded in any Ohio Music Education Association contest. This is the second Superior rating earned in school history. This is the first time in school history that "straight ones" have been earned at Large Group, meaning that the highest rating was awarded by each judge. Congratulations, Warriors!

The Symphonic Band was 35 members strong this year and performed in Class B. Their State Contest program included Blazing Fury by David Shaffer, The Nature of Trees by Cait Nishimura, and American Riversongs by Pierre LaPlante.
